Roseau, Dominica, September 3, 2025 - Republic Bank (EC) Limited proudly congratulates Rianelle Angol and Grace Xavier, the successful recipients of this year’s Republic Bank Scholarship. The scholarship, which closed for applications on July 31, 2025, is awarded annually to students based on our requirements and who also demonstrate active engagement in community and extracurricular activities. Rianelle and Grace have not only met but exceeded these criteria, marking them as shining examples of the impact that educational support can have.
“This is just the beginning,” said Country Manager Sharlene Polydore-Pascal. “As a leader often engaged with the youth, I understand how crucial it is to support our young people in creating a brighter future for themselves.” This commitment is at the heart of Republic Bank’s ongoing work to empower the next generation of leaders, aligning closely with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, especially Quality Education (SDG 4) and Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10).

The scholarship includes an annual book grant of XCD 1,000.00 for five years and covers the cost of CXC subjects upon completion of the fifth year, with firm conditions to maintain academic performance and community service engagement. This structured support ensures recipients are well-equipped to succeed.
