Dear Valued Customer,

Our conversion to the Republic Financial Holdings Limited (RFHL) suite of technology platforms, will be reflected across many products and services and we intend to keep you updated every step of the way so that you can be prepared.

Your account will experience some changes but you can rest assured that your funds will remain safe and secure throughout the process. These are some of the features you can expect to see when the conversion is completed:

  • New Bank Account Number: You will be advised of your new bank account number(s), via mail and other forms of direct communication, well in advance of the conversion’s completion date.
  • New Debit Card: You will be advised when your new card is available for collection at your branch. If you reside abroad, a representative from your branch will contact you to discuss alternative delivery options.
  • Debit Card Functionality: Your new debit card will work in the same way that it does now. You can continue to access your account in-branch or at any Republic Bank or other bank's ATM or point of sale terminal where the VISA logo is displayed.
  • Debit Card Expiration: Your debit card will now expire 5 years from the date of issuance.
  • Accessibility During Conversion: Your access to ATM, online and mobile banking services will be unavailable during a brief period before the new system goes live.

To prepare for the coming change, you can:

  • Contact your branch at (767) 448-5800 to ensure that all of your information (contact, employment, marital status, etc.) is correct.
  • Take note of when the conversion is taking place. We will keep you informed of this and other updates, throughout the process, via email, letters, social media, and our website.
  • Take note of downtimes. We will advise of downtime periods well in advance so that can you withdraw cash for use and make any scheduled online payments beforehand.
  • When you receive your new account and card details, update your employers and any subscription or bill payment services you may use (e.g. Uber, Netflix, Amazon.com, etc.) to avoid delays in payment.
