Over the course of this year, Republic Bank will be converting to the Republic Financial Holdings Limited (RFHL) technology platform and suite of products. While this change will be reflected across many products, our team is working hard to ensure that there is as little disruption to you as possible and we’re happy to say that you’ll soon be able to benefit from enhanced product offerings from Republic Bank.
Scotialine is one of the products that will experience changes as part of this transition. As a Scotialine customer, you will be automatically transitioned from Scotialine to a Mastercard Gold credit card when the conversion is completed. You will have access to the same revolving line of credit as before but with added benefits from the Mastercard Gold credit card suite of offerings.
Republic Bank Mastercard Gold Credit Card Features and Benefits
- Earn cash back: Earn up to 4% cash back on all purchases.
- New Interest Rates: Interest rates will be standardised at 12%.
- New Interest Free Period: 50 day interest free period on outstanding credit card balances.
- Interest Free Period for Cash Advances: Interest on cash advances will not start to accrue immediately. Cash advances will have an interest free period as with any other credit card transaction.
- Purchase Protection: Eligible purchases will be covered for losses caused by accidental damage or theft up to US$200 per event and US$400 per year, within 45 days from the date of purchase.
- Republic Bank BalanceCover: BalanceCover insurance protection covers the outstanding balance of your Republic Bank Mastercard Gold credit card up to a maximum coverage amount.
