Take note of these Conversion Updates

Dear Valued Customer,

It’s been a busy few months here at Republic as we work towards the completion of our conversion to Republic Financial Holdings Limited’s (RFHL) suite of technology platforms. Your patience, support and feedback mean a lot us and we are looking forward to fully introducing you to the Republic Bank brand.

Our new platforms will go live on September 1, 2021. We encourage you to visit our webpage, www.republicbankstlucia.com/rbec-conversion, to learn more about the conversion, view our frequently asked questions and see all of the updates that we have shared with our customers thus far. As we move towards the final phases of this transition, we encourage you to take note of the following updates and next steps.

Action Required:

  • Accessibility During Conversion: Your access to ATM, online and mobile banking services will be unavailable from August 27, 2021 to August 31, 2021 before the new system goes live. Please take note of this downtime period. We will encourage you to withdraw cash for use and make any scheduled online payments beforehand. If you encounter any special circumstances or challenges, please reach out to us, we’re here to support you.
  • Final Processing Day: The last day that you can conduct a transaction before the conversion period is August 27, 2021, by 2pm.
  • Bank Closure & Opening Hours: Our branches will operate as follows:
    o Friday August 27 from 8am to 2pm (Branch Services & Card Collection); 2pm to 5pm (Card Collection Only)
    o Monday August 30 (Closed)
    o Tuesday August 31 from 9am to 5pm (Cash withdrawals and Card Collection)

Other Updates:

  • New Bank Account Number: If you have not received your new bank account number via postal mail, email or from your branch, please contact your branch.
  • New Debit Card: Your new Republic Bank debit card is available for collection now as all current debit cards (including blue cards) will expire on August 27, 2021. Please contact your branch if you have not heard from them already.
  • New Credit Cards: Your new Republic Bank credit card was migrated to the new Republic Financial Holding’s platform effective August 24, 2021. If you have not collected your new card as yet, please do so now. You must use the PIN you receive with your new credit card for credit card transactions.
  • New Cheques: Chequing account customers have a supply of Republic Bank cheques with new account details available for collection at their home branches. Customers will be required to begin using your new Republic Bank cheques after the conversion date September 1, 2021. Customers who opened accounts after May 31, 2021 should place orders for cheques after the go live period. If you print special cheques, you should have received details regarding the revised format. If you have not received these details, please contact your branch at your earliest convenience.
  • Online Banking: Our new online and mobile banking platforms, RepublicOnline and RepublicMobile will go live soon. We encourage you to save your e-statements from the current platform by August 26, 2021 since this information will not be available on the new system. We will send all users the link and an invitation to register to the system once it goes live.
